St. James of Louisville
While an altar boy at St. Ignatius Church of Redemption, Jimmy became obsessed with
the blood of martyrs. As a teen, he began "borrowing" blood from friends for experiments
with his Gilbert Chemistry Set. Jim graduated with honors from the medical school that
was identified as a veritable "Blood Fiesta" in his autobiography Love Liters. A leader
in the field of Hematology, he is renowned for work on blood-infused microchips that make
our computers more compassionate.
