Ostracized by friends and business associates for the worship of false idols, Miguel found solace and a rebirth in the foothills of the valley. Known as a man who speaks loudly and carries a big stick, he hosts a yearly festival populated by many supplicants who vie for a chance to speak loudly with their own sticks.
